  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 cup cooked white or brown rice
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (broccoli, carrots, bell peppers)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the rice according to package instructions until tender.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it into small pieces.
  4. Add mixed vegetables and cook for 3 to 5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  5. Pour teriyaki sauce over the beef and vegetables and stir well.
  6. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2 to 3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  7. Place cooked rice on serving plates.
  8. Top with the beef and vegetable mixture.
  9. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.

Notes
